Sam Wong is a science journalist currently working for New Scientist in London. He has previously written for the Guardian and Nature and worked as a media officer for Imperial College London and the British Heart Foundation. He has produced audio content for the Guardian Science Weekly podcast and the Imperial College Podcast, and produced news videos for Imperial.
Sam writes and performs poetry with the spoken word group Rhymes With Orange. He’s set cryptic crosswords for Felix, co-presented a topical comedy podcast, and won an award as a stand-up comedian. Things he likes include dogs, Liverpool FC, playing guitar, Wes Anderson films, cheese, garlic and cycling.
